The Staffordshire Police have commissioned this three-minute video about the
consequences of  drinking too much and highlight the plight of women and
indeed some men in an alcohol fueled environment during the World Cup
(This has been launched as part of a Youtube and Facebook viral marketing campaign)

This gritty and thought-provoking film shows three dramatised accounts of the violent effects of alcohol:
an incident of domestic violence; a violent assault in a pub, and a road traffic collision

Robert, as an actor, normally plays on-screen bouncers and thugs so you would think that this would make
him an improbable target for domestic abuse but Robert too has been in an abusive relationship.
His ex-girlfriend 'JR' became verbally and physically abusive after drinking large amounts of
alcohol and 'JR' used Robert regularly as a punch bag, which ultimately prompted him
to donate his time for this most important alcohol abuse marketing campaign

What would people think about this 280 pound weightlifter and who would believe that he was a victim?
Robert suffered in silence for years and regrets not taking action but he hopes his contribution
to this campaign about alcohol related violence will make a difference to someone

Robert says:
No one has the right to physically or mentally harm you whether you're a
Big Strong Male
or a Small Timid Female, even when they tell you that they LOVE YOU !
